Would you like to build robots, work with 3-D printers, learn a computer language, and more as you prepare for jobs that are currently in demand in Palm Beach County? Then the Mechatronics Academy at WTEC is for you!

Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical engineering, computing, and electronics as used in the design and development of new manufacturing techniques. The program at WTEC places a heavy emphasis on hands-on manufacturing skills & robotics production. As you matriculate through this program you will have opportunities to earn up to four industry certifications – Pre-Engineering, Robotics, MSSC Certified Production Technician (MSSC-CPT), and Mechatronics Fitter. Students that earn the MSSC-CPT industry certification should be eligible for 15 credit hours towards the Florida Engineering Technology A.S./A.A.S. where the program is offered in the state.
